Other types, you need to buy each item separately. But this has its advantages when you start creating your own personalized fondue set with the colors you want and the accessories you want to use.

fondue pots are made specifically for a variety of different purposes. stainless steel, aluminum, copper and silver plate or sterling silver pots are usually used for revenues from oil and meat fondue, where the enamel coated cast iron or ceramic pots are used for cheese or chocolate fondues. Fondue Bourguignonne is a traditional recipe for meat fondue. The pot used for this is wider at the base and curved on top. Why? Because it eliminates some of the splash that occurs when raw meat hits the hot oil and shape helps keep the heat. Most vessels are bourguignonne are half the capacity of 2 liters.

And if you do not have a fondue pot or unwilling to spend money on one? You can always improvise on any good heating unit that burns denatured alcohol, canned heat, or butane. Some other items used with fondue pots:

Fondue forks  and plates are designed to cook and serve meat fondue recipes and are available in a wide range of materials, sizes, shapes, colors and of course price ranges.

Fondue boards  are special because they have small sections built for them in the form of small bundles of clippings and a larger section for meat. They are convenient and nice to have but not necessary. These cards are generally available in ceramic, porcelain, ceramic, plastic or metal.
