Cooking with Honey – The Healthy Sweetener
You should be able to cook sweets without the negative health effects of refined sugars do, honey is an excellent choice. Among other reasons, Honey is slowly absorbed by the body, so you are less likely to be made of sugar “high” after eating something with honey.

The biggest hurdle for cooking with honey, is that it is a liquid. Sugar substitute honey will ruin some recipes if you do not make an allowance for the additional liquid, add the honey.
Most muffins, quick breads simple, yeast bread, etc. You can substitute without any adjustment. Cakes, biscuits and a few other recipes that you change the quantity of liquid in the recipe should decrease for the honey.
Honey is also very easy to use in pies. Since they are already more fluid, replace the sugar with honey can. If the pie filling seems too runny, just add a little more thickening agent before you pour it into your pie shell.
The taste of honey can sometimes be a problem, but not usually. If you have a recipe that you do not make the noticeable taste, there are several things you can try. First, get the mildest flavored honey can. Usually this will be a very pale clover honey. (The paler the honey, the sweeter and milder taste, in general.)
If necessary, you can be part of honey, and some other part of sweetener such as apple juice concentrate, agave syrup, stevia, sugar, or if you must.
