KID’S FAIR SUGAR COOKIES
2 / 3 c. Shortening
3 / 4 c. Granulated sugar
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 egg
4 tsp. Milk
2 c. sifted flour
1 1 / 2 tsp. Baking powder
1 / 4 tsp. Salt
Thoroughly cream shortening, sugar and vanilla. Add egg and milk. Beat until foamy stir. Seven
together dry ingredients, blend into creamed mixture. Cover and chill for 1 hour at least. On slightly
floured surface, roll to 1 / 8 “thick. Use tuna can. Bake on ungreased baking sheet cut at
375 degrees for about 80-10 minutes.
